My crisis policy is based on a philosophy that no one should feel they have to risk life and limb to avoid a cancellation fee. Therefore…

Step 1. Please call or text me to double check if you have not heard from me if you there is a crisis or you know the weather is questionable.

Step 2. If you don’t feel safe and prefer to stay home, please, both text and call me as soon as possible, so that we can adapt our schedules (e.g., stay home, come in later, leave early, offer the time to others, phone session, video session, etc). 

In case of a crisis or inclement weather, if you agree to a phone or video session for your scheduled appointment or coordinate an adjusted time for that same day to have your appointment, you will not have a cancelation fee.

The Simple Practice client portal is set up for video sessions.  If we both agree on a video session, I will change the nature of the session on the calendar and send you a link to connect for our scheduled session.  Additionally, you can download the Simple Practice app to your phone here: https://www.simplepractice.com/mobile-practice-management

The portal is a secure, confidential space.

Late Cancelation Reminder…
Please remember, if there is no crisis or inclement weather and you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please let me know via text, email, or phone prior to 24 hours notice.  Within the 24 hour window of your appointment, there is a $75 cancelation fee.
